James Joseph was born on August 5th, weighing in at nearly 8 lbs. He joins sister Alice Ann, 3, and brother Thomas Patrick, 2. Cavanagh and his wife, who have been married since 2004, are fond of traditional names. James, a Hebrew name, is a variant of Jacob and means “Supplanter.” The name Joseph is also of Hebrew origin. The meaning of Joseph is “May Jehovah give increase.” Interesting also is the Cavanagh’s use of alliteration. While their first son is named after his father, the other two children have first and middle names with the same beginning letter (A for their daughter and J for their second son). With three children ages 3 and under, the Cavanagh family will be very busy indeed!
