An unnamed Chinese girl has given birth. And she is just 9 years old. The child delivered a healthy baby boy by Caesarean section in a Changchun hospital. According to a Chinese newspaper, the young girl was brought to the hospital when she was eight-and-a-half months pregnant and remained there until delivery. Chinese police have not yet determined the identity of the baby's father. They are investigating it as a crime. In the young mother's province, sex with a minor under the age of 14 comes with an automatic rape conviction and jail sentence. Incredibly, this new mother is not the youngest on record. Time magazine reported that a 6-year-old girl from Peru gave birth in 1939. Lina Medina (pictured) delivered a normal, six-pound baby boy via C-section. I am so distressed about the 9 year old from China who delivered a baby. What will happen to her now? What will happen to the baby? What will happen to the man that did this to her?
