Elisabeth Hasselbeck gave birth to a baby boy on August 9^th, in a New York Hospital. Isaiah Thomas weighed in at 7 lbs., 7 oz.  

This is the third child for Elisabeth and her husband Tim, a former NFL player. Elisabeth announced the pregnancy on her show, The View, in January. “We were thoroughly happy with the surprise of it,” she said.

The Hebrew meanings of the name Isaiah are “The Lord is generous, salvation of the Lord, and God’s helper.” The name Thomas is the Greek version of the Hebrew word Teuma, meaning “Twin.”

Isaiah Thomas joins his sister and brother, Grace Elisabeth, 4, and Taylor Thomas, 20 months.
