Supermodel and mother of 3 Heidi Klum spoke out about her experience as a mother on the View this past week.  One of the topics discussed were the supermodel’s baby names.   

Klum and musician husband Seal are already parents to 2-year-old Leni (from a previous relationship) and 1-year-old Henry Guenther Ademola Dashtu Samuel.  Baby boy Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel was born just this past November.  Why the long names?   It seems that the Klum-Seal babies are following in their father’s footsteps.   Seal’s real name is Henry Olusegun Adeola Samuel. 

Although two middle names may seem a bit like much, Klum admits to using the short Henry and Riley for convenience.  While the names Henry and Riley are extremely popular across the country, the boys’ more unusual middle names draw on various cultural backgrounds. Baby Riley’s middle names Fyodor (Russian) and Taiwo (Nigerian) are as varied in their ethnic background as can be.  Baby Riley will have a great variety of choice when deciding which name to use when he grows up, as well as where to live.

With 3 under 3, Klum admitted that she is not getting too much sleep of late. However, the star said she does not mind it at all.  People magazine quoted the Klum saying "This is what Seal and I have always wanted: a home filled with children's laughter."
