Adele was named for Molly’s mother. Adele is a variant of Adela. The German name means “pleasant.” The Old German meaning of Adela is “noble.” The name Roman is of Spanish origin and means “from Rome.” Ringwald, best known for her roles in ‘80s films such as Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink, now stars on ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Molly Ringwald, 41, and husband Panio Gianopoulos, 34, are new parents to baby girl Adele Georgiana and baby boy Roman Stylianos. The twins join big sister, 5 ˝-year-old Mathilda Ereni.
