Trista SutterABC’s first Bachelorette Trista Sutter became famous my sharing her private life with the public. She fell in love, got married and had two babies in the company of millions of TV viewers. Now she’s going public with yet another private life decision.

Trista and husband Ryan, a firefighter, have decided they’re done having children. With this decision, Trista has become the unofficial spokesperson for the Essure procedure, a new permanent birth control procedure. By speaking openly about this, Tricia hopes to help other couples achieve birth control while avoiding unnecessary surgery, such as tubal ligation or vasectomy.

Trista and Ryan’s first child, son Maxwell, was born in July 2007. Maxwell is a name of Scottish origin meaning “Magnus’ spring” or “Mac’s well.” The couple created the name Blakesley for their daughter, born on April 3, 2009.

Mom’s name, Trista, is of Italian origin and means “Sad.” The name Ryan is Gaelic for “Little king.”

What part of her private life will Trista share next with her public?
