Sarah Michelle Gellar and husband Freddie Prinze Jr., are the proud parents of a baby girl. Charlotte Grace Prinze was born Saturday, September 19^th.

The name Charlotte has both English and French roots and means “Tiny and feminine.” Charlotte is a feminine variant of Charles. Grace is an English name and means “God’s favor.” As a variant of Grianne, which means “Love,” the name also has Irish roots.

This is the first child for the Scooby Doo couple who wed in 2002. Gellar is best known for her TV role as Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She recently filmed The Wonderful Maladys for HBO.
