Known worldwide as The Pregnant Man, Beatie made headlines when photos of him and his pregnant belly became public.

For his female-to-male transformation, Beatie had his breasts surgically removed and took regular doses of testosterone. Before his transition, Beatie was Tracy Lagondino, a Girl Scout and Miss Hawaii Teen USA finalist. In his 20s, Beatie began living as a man and changed his gender on his driver's license and passport.

Take a look at these beautiful Hawaiian baby names.

In 2003, Beatie legally wed Nancy, a divorced mother of two. Because Nancy was infertile (she had a hysterectomy as a result of endometriosis), Beatie became pregnant with donor sperm.

In an interview with Barbara Walters on The View, the couple said they used a standard turkey baster at home to impregnate Beatie.

If Beatie is legally a man but has all of his female reproductive organs, then is Nancy straight or gay?

If he's pregnant, he's not a man.
