According to the American Heart Association a normal fat intake should consist of thirty percent of your daily diet, which is roughly sixty Mg.
As we all grew to know there are two kinds of fat: natural fats and saturated fats.
Saturated fats are located in snacks, chips, fatty meats and candy bars. If you stay away from these products and saturated fat, you will be much healthier and the natural fats will be much easier to burn.
Here are some foods with natural fats and low amount saturated fats, which are fine : Olive or canola oil are the healthiest oils by far. Nuts such as walnuts, and almonds are healthy as long as you don't eat too much of them (stop after 10-15). Some other foods are avocado, butter, olives and oily fish such as salmon, sardines and tuna. These fish contain fatty acids such as Omega 3, which is crucial for brain development. It can make your baby smarter!
Remember that fat is not an enemy. It is vital for your and your baby's health and strength.
