Already more than two inches in length.  The uterus begins to rise upwards out of the pelvic bone.

Your Baby

The baby’s eyes and ears move to their normal place on the head and intestines more further inside the baby’s body.  The liver begins to work this week and the pancreas begins to secrete insulin.  The vocal chords begin to form.

The baby will grow to approximately 2.2 inches this week.

Changes in your Body

Women who have been pregnant before will experience a faster enlargement of the stomach than a woman who is in her first pregnancy.  The uterus begins to move upward out of the pelvic bone.  This provides a relief for frequent urination, as the pressure on the bladder is eased.

Any bleeding or spotting should be reported to your Dr. They will need to know color, consistency, how often all that stuff.
I have had some spotting and my Dr. told me that it is common for this to happen in women in their 1st trimester.
In general they say if it is dark red to brown that is ok. If it is bright red, can fill a pad in like an hour, or clot like that can be bad.
Either way report any bleeding to your Dr.

any form of bleeding should be reported to your doctor in any trimester of pregnancy especially if it is in the 1st trimester of your pregnancy as this is the stage where spontaneous abortion most likely to happen. This is regardless of the color. The amount of blood and duration of bleeding that goes out is more important than the color.

I agree with the last comment but to answer the last one..Dark red/brown spotting is normal..Bright red is when you have to worry..this is because usually if it's brown it's most likely old/left over blood..Bright red is fresh and if it's coming out that fast can mean something is wrong..
happened to me

right now im am 13 weeks and i have been having some dark brown sometimes black spotting since i was 8 weeks, my doctor says this is normal with some women b/c of the hormone change. she also said that as long as its brown or blackish that it is old blood nothing to really worry about unless you have clots, now the bright red or pinkish blood is what you have to worry about b/c if you are in the 1st trimister that you may have a miscarriage. i dont want to scare anyone but believe me ive been there done that, this is my 5th pregnancy i have 4 angel babies, all were miscarriages within the fist couple of weeks. try not to worry or stress over it b/c that can make it worse, i know its had to do but it can help in the long run!!

I just wanted to write this so than anyone experiencing this isn't too freaked out. The same thing happened to me at 13 weeks. I had a period that was like one that I would have if I was not pregnant. I was hysterical. I cried. I called my husband home from work. I ran to the doctor's office in tears. My doctor listen to the baby's heart and he was fine. They sent me for an ultrasound and the tech said everything looked great. Do not assume that you have miscarried just because you have some bleeding- especially with your first baby. It is so sad to miscarry and this is not meant to anger or discredit anyone who may have experienced one, just know that bleeding is not always something to panic about.

bleeding in pregnancy
written by Beth Fedje, October 22, 2009
As some have said before, report ANY bleeding during pregnancy reguardless of how much, you will want to abserve the blood you pass and give them details about the color, consistancy, amount, and whether or not you feel any cramping or tightening. It doesn't necessarily mean something bad is happening and in some women is very normal, and if they are unaware that they are pregnant, could even mistake this for thier mentural cycle. With my first daughter, I didn't realize I was actually pregnant until 10 weeks because I had been on Depo for 3 years and only had some light spotting.
