Isn't it enough that your stomach has to grow, but that your feet grow not enabling you to wear the favorite shoes you had on before the pregnancy?

Increased foot size is just one of the many "perks" that come with your pregnancy.

There a few factors that causesthis phenomenon. Rapid weight gain and edema are some of the factors that may cause an increase in foot size and swelling.

What should you do?

First, go buy a pear of new shoes. It is not worth wearing your old ones. Your feet will get larger and will cause pain and discomfort. The swelling may not disappear immediately after birth. It could take a couple of months.

Consider orthopedic shoes or inserts. The benefit will be appearance, as these shoes help take pressure off your legs and back.

Elevate your legs as much as you can. If it won't take down the swelling, it will help with the discomfort.

If all else fails, ask your partner for a soothing foot rub.
