Does the world seem blurry? Do you feel you need to change your glasses? Are your eyes sore and dry?  Changes in vision and sensitive eyes are common during pregnancy.

Hormones cause vision change, your eyes to dry and your corneas to thicken.

This change is temporary and fades away after you give birth.

To alleviate these symptoms, you may try these recommendations:

• Use eye drops which contain lubricants to keep your eyes moist.

• If you wear contact lenses, wear them as less as possible. If you are at home wear your glasses.

If you suffer from intense pain or extreme symptoms of vision change (seeing spots, blurriness) for more than a few hours, contact your doctor.
