At this point, you are growing at a rate of a pound a week. The early pregnancy symptoms have gone, and have been replaced with mid-pregnancy symptoms which have a lot to do with your weight gain and the pressure of the growing uterus.

Month 6What are your physical changes?

These are common symptoms during the sixth month: Harder kicking, Edema, seeing the babies movement, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Hemorrhoids, urine leaks,  constipation, pain in the lower back and legs, and enlarged and painful veins throughout your body (varicose veins), skin changes such as Chloasma (Pregnancy mask) and stretch Marks.

Easing Cramps
As you get bigger, cramps will worsen and get more intense. To reduce cramping, increase your calcium and potassium intake. Drink a glass of milk before taking a nap and get off your feet as much as you can. Massage the muscles and take walks as to relieve the pressure. Related articles:

Get some sleep

Getting a good night's rest is not something trivial. Sleeping on the side is the recommended sleep position during pregnancy.  Good rest and a proper diet are essential for feeling energized and healthy.

How are you feeling?

As your pregnancy is nearing its final stages, take time to take it all in. This is a good time for introspection and reflection. From the seventh month you will be swamped with baby proofing the house, birth classes and finishing projects at work in preparation for your maternity leave.  Use this time to organize the house for the first few months after the baby is born and to begin looking into childbirth classes.
