The baby will grow to approximately 6 inches this week! Your Baby
Your baby is sleeping in the same schedule as a newborn. The baby even has a preferred position for sleep! If you are having a girl, her reproductive organs should be in place now. If it is a boy, this genitals should be more developed now as well. Hair is starting to form on the scalp and the buds of the baby’s milk teeth have developed. The baby is now a whopping 6 inches! Changes in your Body As your baby is growing, you may begin to experience back pain, aches in the lower abdomen, cramping in the legs and a slight swelling in the feet and ankles. The extra blood volume and subsequent dilated blood vessels may temporarily cause tiny red veins to appear on your face, arms and shoulders. Your skin may itch and be dry and flaky in places. Make sure that you are drinking plenty of water to keep your body and skin hydrated. Keeping your back straight and watching your posture may alleviate much of the discomfort in your back. I am 19 weeks pregnant, and my husband and I get to find out what the sex is.I am very anxious and excited to know.My baby started kicking a few days ago and even though this is my 2nd child, it feels different.I feel little kicks in one part of my lower belly, then the baby moves to another part of the belly a minute or so later and does it again. It makes me giggle. It's like the baby is letting me know he's there and awake.
