You may feel your baby move in response to startling sounds or even in response to touch. Your Baby The baby’s body becomes fuller as it gains more fat tissue, with the appearance increasingly resembling that of a newborn. Taste buds begin to develop this week. This week your baby should grow to approximately 12 inches. Changes in your Body You may feel your baby respond to loud sounds or touch. If you experience rhythmic jerking movements in the abdomen, your baby might have the hiccups! In the 24th week of pregnancy up to the 26th week, your healthcare practitioner may schedule a glucose tolerance test to determine if you have gestational diabetes. I know that the 2nd trimester is supposed to be the easiest but it's been pretty much the same for me. I've been tired, achy, and still a little sick of and on. I dunno if carrying twins makes the difference because my first pregnancy followed in course pretty much.

I am a teacher and my first trimester wore me out. I have been a lot more energetic until now, I take a lot of naps!!! Another thing about being 6th months is that I am ready to hold my baby, and I know the feeling will just get worse...I can't wait!
