The following tips can make your working experience while pregnant more comfortable.

· Try to take a morning and afternoon break

· Bring healthy snacks to work (fruit, vegetables, cheese, crackers, etc.)

· Dress comfortably

· Elevate your feet, whenever possible

· Make arrangements for your maternity leave, if you are not on active duty

Can I still Travel While I'm Pregnant?

Yes, you can travel when you are pregnant.  Long road trips are discouraged, however, after your sixth month.  If you are traveling by air, travel is generally OK, up to you eighth month (36 weeks).  The airlines may require a release note from your healthcare provider.

Travel Tips for Pregnant Women

· Plan a relaxing vacation

· Consider plane or train travel, over traveling in a car

· If you do travel by car, stop and stretch about every 2 hours, to avoid leg cramps

· Avoid high altitude vacation spots

· Talk to you healthcare provider to make sure travel is appropriate for you
