Southern Baby Girl Names
On the ladies’ side, there are some similar trends. Also mirroring the top 10 girls’ names across the United States, every southern state’s list of popular names includes the trendy Emma, Madison and Ava. Isabella made the top 10 in every state but Mississippi while Emily appeared everywhere but Mississippi and Tennessee. Chloe appeared often, as did Olivia, Abigail, Addison and Elizabeth.
Some surprising names that made the southern states’ top 10 for girls include Brooklyn, Hannah, Brianna, Alyssa, Anna and Makayla.
