The Social Security Administration comes out with their most popular baby names every year, including the most popular names for twins.  From 2006-2008 Jacob and Joshua have ranked #1 for twin boy name combinations. For girls, Ella and Emma has remained in the top spot since 2006 followed by Madison and Morgan.

When it comes to choosing a baby name, deciding for two doesn’t need to be twice as difficult. 

When it comes to deciding on names for your multiples keep the following in mind:

Tip #1: For a common sound choose names with the same letter and/or same sound. Keep in mind if you have identical twins similar sounding names may make it all the more confusing to tell them apart.

Tip #5: Choose unique names for each child, but incorporate the same middle name or initial.
