i hate how popular names are common names- the same thing! i hate names that are so common, but i love the sound, like sydney and morgan.
i like original names, but not weird. so i like names that DO exist, but aren't used for every baby born! like ... evelyn (haven't met many of those)
but hailey sounds nice, but it's SO SO SO common, it's ridiculous! and in my city, kimberly is EVERY girl's name!!!

my other "bestie" is having a girl, and a boy.
she really likes desiree and ebony for a girl. she wonders... can she pair ebony (1st) and desiree (middle)? or something else, cuz she really likes ebony best, but middle pairs for desiree give her more options (please help!) she also can't decide between jackie and jaclin.
boy:
she likes nathaniel (call him nathan) and jeremiah, but doesn't want the two together. any pairings for nathaniel? (her first choice)

dear T, after going thru your short list, the name that flows right off my tongue beautifully is...
Jaylynn Simone!! my 2nd choice would be Jaylynn Lanae, 'cept too many L's. i think it's a lovely idea, mixing you & hubby's names for a baby! what a gift :)
all my best to your fam,

I really like the name Mallory, the only thing keeping me from using it is its meaning, not to sound superstitious or anything. Why would someone makeup such a terrible meaning for such a lovely name. It means bitter or unfortunate for those who were wondering. I dont guess it really matters what the name means though. One thing I do like about the name is that it isnt even on the top 100 popular girls name list, maybe thats why huh.
Trying to find the perfect name!

Hey there! I am changing my name, and want something unique, pretty, and maybe with an "e" sound at the end. I'd like something with a hippie feel to it, like Willow, Star, something like that. If you have any suggestions, please e-mail me: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Looking for a middle name
written by chymetra tims, October 05, 2009
I am looking for a middle name that goes with Julian. My husband likes Julian, but I can't think of anything that goes with it. I was thinking Xavier, but I don't really want to use it unless I have to.

If it's a girl I'm going with Jenaya Olivia. I love it.
Looking for names
written by Judith Epstein, October 08, 2009
My husband and I are looking for names for our baby girl...
My name is Judith and his Connor Jeffery (well, everybody calls him CJ).. Um, we love names with J but we can't find the one, ya know..
Her middle name would be Liz after my best friend (who would also be her god mother), so we want something with J that would go along with Liz nicely :)
Any ideas?
Husband not helpful
written by Beth Fedje, October 22, 2009
My husband and I are expecting our second daughter in December and so far she's shot down every name I've come up with and the best he can do is suggest using names of boats that he worked on when he was on the river(Mississippi) stuff like Sadie Mae(I have a niece named Hailey May) or Sophie Rose (my name is Elizabeth Rose) and we didn't name our 1st daughter after anyone and I don't want to with this one. I like Briella Noel, should I just give him a couple more weeks and let him try to offer something we can agree on or should I choose a name and go with it?
