Check out Uma Thurman in the hilarious comedy, Motherhood.
Motherhood premiered last year at the Sundance Film Festival and is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray.
Thurman plays Eliza Welch, an urban, stay-at-home mom with two kids and an absent-minded hubby played by Anthony Edwards. Motherhood is one day in the life of Welch as she struggles through the grind and finds herself.
Eliza wakes up on this fateful day to get ready for her daughter's 6th birthday party, deal with her busy toddler son, battle for parking spaces, confront overbearing playground moms, and fix things with her best friend Sheila (played by Minnie Driver).
Amidst it all, Eliza is trying to complete a 500-word contest essay answering the simple question, "What Does Motherhood Mean to Me?" Through this process, Eliza rinds herself and discovers what it is about her life that is truly valuable.
In real life, Thurman has two kids with ex-husband, Ethan Hawke: daughter Maya Ray Thurman-Hawke, 11, and son Levon Roan Thurman-Hawke, 8. Like Eliza, Thurman lives in New York's Greenwich Village.

An unnamed Chinese girl has given birth. And she is just 9 years old.
The child delivered a healthy baby boy by Caesarean section in a Changchun hospital. According to a Chinese newspaper, the young girl was brought to the hospital when she was eight-and-a-half months pregnant and remained there until delivery.
Chinese police have not yet determined the identity of the baby's father. They are investigating it as a crime. In the young mother's province, sex with a minor under the age of 14 comes with an automatic rape conviction and jail sentence.
Incredibly, this new mother is not the youngest on record. Time magazine reported that a 6-year-old girl from Peru gave birth in 1939. Lina Medina (pictured) delivered a normal, six-pound baby boy via C-section. The boy, named Gerardo after Lina's doctor, died in 1979 at the age of 40.
