Rocko Akira Clapp was born on December 20 in Los Angeles. Rocko weighed in at 8 lbs.

Director Sofia Coppola and boyfriend Thomas Mars are expecting their second child.

Coppola and Mars are already parents to 3-year-old daughter Romy. Romy may be a modern variant of the Italian name Romia, which means "From Rome."

Coppola, 38, is best known for directing Lost in Translation and Marie Antoinette. Mars is the frontman for the ban Phoenix, whose latest album is entitled Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.

Mars told Chicago's WXRT radio that playing Bach to babies in-vitro makes them smarter, but he's not sure exposing their unborn baby to his music is "a good idea."

Reality TV personality Kourtney Kardashian and her boyfriend Scott Disick are the proud parents of a baby boy. Mason Dash Disick was born on December 14 in Los Angeles and weighed 7 lbs., 6 oz.

The name Mason, meaning "Worker in stone," has both English and French roots. Dash is the name of the family clothing boutique.

The new mom, 30, announced the pregnancy in August 2009. She and Disick, 26, have dealt publicly with an on-again/off-again relationship after Kardashian accused him of cheating but are now blissfully happy as parents.

Joey McIntyre and his wife Barrett welcomed their second son on December 13.

Rhys Edward McIntyre was born in Los Angeles and weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz.

Rhys joins big brother Griffin Thomas, age 2. Both Rhys and Griffin are Welsh name.

"He and his mom are both rock stars," Tweeted McIntyre. And they're not finished yet.

"I think we have a deal to keep going until we have a girl," says McIntyre. "That's what my wife says."

McIntyre and New Kids on the Block performed a 2009 holiday concert in their hometown, Boston.

Singer Lisa Loeb and her husband, Roey Hershkovitz, welcomed their first child on November 29 at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The couple named their daughter Lyla Rose Loeb Hershkovitz.

Lyla is an English name meaning "From the island.' It's a feminie form of Lyle and a variant of Delilah. Alternate spellings of Lyla include Lila and Lylah.
