Poor girl that Heavenly Hyraani Tiger Lily......What were her parents thinking when they named her after the girl from Peter Pan!! u know...princess tiger lily....LOL it was just way too funny. I like most of the names though. i LOVE Apple!! i think its cute. Besides, people name their children after flowers, trees....so why not fruits?? lol. :D :D :D I also like Shiloh Atherton (for a boy), Gaia, London Emilio, Bluebell Madonna, Luna, Satchel, Pilot and Sirius.

Moonblood sounds kind of dark...Like some sort of reagent for a witch's potion or something LOL :D :D :D - pindulhi

crazy names, what to say? those kids will be teased and offended ( benhide their backs) because of their names. but, they and everyone should name their kid like you want, i like unique names too and also old-fashioned, together they go great. but i still think that with CAMERA and APPLE they over did ti! - Riley

Our history of strange names has come along way... my mother is tyler paris, I am Vadra, my brother is Wraith Vaughn-Lain, and my little one to be (in Nov.) is going to be Ocean Phoenix. I think it's all in the person you raise, thier confidence level and letting them make the name thier own. - Strange Names

i kind of like fifi trixibell. but they should have put her sisters name, peaches honeyblossom, othere was also another named daisy boo. that name is okay. i think these celebs just want to stand out and get as much attention as they can! my sons name is parker james and my daughter will be named barbi leana. i like uncommon names mixed with familiar names. - jessica

My name is . . .

I agree that some, not all, of the names listed are truly without merit. I am surprised at how many people make remarks about names like Poppy, Shiloh, and Willow to name, but a few, and no one mentions the name Phinneaus that Julia Roberts chose for her son as being off the wall. Bluebelle and Poppy are names of flowers as are Rose, Lily, Iris and Violet yet no one finds these names odd. Names like Ivy and Holly are fine but Willow and Rowan are deemed unacceptable.
I like traditional just as well as unique names.

common names are niice, but when everyone has the same name it can get confusing. I don't have any kids yet but babies are always popping out in my family. Some of them have normal, strange and original names.my name is of greek origin, but i am not greek i think you can name your child whatever you want as long as you like it! - philomena

Im a huge fan of names not found in the top 1000. Sure, some of these names are definately a bit "out there", but odds are these celebrity offspring will be changing their names by the time they are 16 anyways. My daughters names are Novalea Faith and Irelyn Grace. Not too off the wall, but not common either. My husband and I are expecting our third girl in July but have yet to come up with a name. - Devon

I love the names that celebrities name their kids!! Those names are unique and beautiful, and I can't see why people don't like them. When I adopt my kids, I'm considering names like Tallulah, Rumer, Sarafina, Sage, Joss or Luna. I want my children to have different names, not boring, typical ones like Jen, or Rebecca. - Namelvr

Hmmm! Let the name find you.

I think the name should find the child. We are all unique and to saddle someone with a name that another 5 million people have seems restrictive.
I would love to meet Pilot & see what he has to say when he is 5.
My 2 year old son Canyon Asher gives me inspiration every day.

If that is what they want to name their child then they should be able to.
I have a Hana, Levi and Raliegh. Yes they are spelled correctly, (I should know). I love family names that carry on, but don't go there for something like Mehitable. - Kris
