leader or hero

My name is Hailey, and now that I am an adult (22), I like my name. Growing up, no one else I knew had this name, and now it is popular! But the meaning I've always heard for Hailey is "leader," or "hero," which is from the Scandanavian origin. But hero is a much nicer meaning than field of hay! - Hailey

I have never met anyone with their name spelled exactly like mine. My mom has told me that she loved the name Haylee but she wanted to spell it her own way. I love the way that my name is spelled because it is so unique. - Haylee

My dh loves the name Hailey. However, our other 2 children's names end in "ah" Noah and Hannah. If we have a son he will be named Jonah. I was trying to find a way to make Haileah or Hayleah and have the "leah" sound like "lee". I was looking for a phonetic example but have not come up with anything. Leaf has the sound and perhaps the h can be silent. I know she would be always explaining her name. But for now I am still hopeful.

any ideas? - jello
