It just sounded so lovely to me. She has the same initials that I do: Keri Allison. When I first researched the name I found both origins. It makes sense to me; there are quite a few names that sound and look similar from different countries or cultures. Wherever it's from, it is a beautiful name. I get alot of compliments on her name. We had another name picked out for her when she was born, Emily Grace. Just as the 'birth certificate lady' at the hospital was coming in we decided to change it to Kylie. We wanted something more unique. We picked it out of a baby name book with the help of the memory of a great waitress names Riley. Riley just wasn't girlie enough for us. It is just amazing to me how many Kylie's there are where I live. I am glad other people like the name as well.
