SO many people screw up my name leaving it "I-la" "Ai-la" "Kayla" "Layla" "Gayla" but somehow people cannot just drop the first letter and just say Ayla. I complain about my name a lot, primarily because people get it wrong but I actually really like it. I couldn't imagine having a popular name like Emily or Jessica. I honestly don't find that name to be very common. I have never met anyone named Ayla and every time someone asks her name and I tell them they always express how beautiful and original the name is. I of course love the books and I think the meaning "oak tree" is quite fitting. Its just icing on the cake.
