My three year old is named George Christopher. I originally named him after my grandfather that passes shortly before his birth, and now I am so glad I did. Think George Clooney, think George Strait. I think classic, strong names on men are so sexy. Besides, everywhere I bring him people tell me how much they LOVE this name. - katie

My Grandfather was called George although he preferred to be acknowledged by his middle name which was Edwin.
Coincidently he was actually a farmer who was totally dedicated to it until he died aged 74, however I don't recall him telling me any stories about fighting Dragons! - Rosie

George was definately not in my top 10. It wasn't even a place holder on my list of possibilities. My son's name is George however. He goes by his middle name, Tyler, and doesn't acknowledge George as his name. He's almost 4. It's a family name and I didn't have a choice. He is George #6 on my husband's side of the family. I still don't like it though... - Curious

I love the name George. I don't know why! I love the brand GEORGE at Walmart, I love everyone I've met named George, ...and I would not hesitate in naming my baby George. I admit it's not my favorite name, but it is definitely in the top 10! :) - Janae

George has become a really common name. I work with children and there are at least 3 Georges out of 50 kids! - Rebekah
