My husband's name is Aaron Randall II. We have a girl, Skylar. Since my husband is a second we had to keep the name going (and no jr). So we have decided to name our baby boy (due in October) Bentley Aaron, cute huh? - Brandy

I've found out that the baby I'm carrying right now is a boy and I've named him Aaron. His brothers names are Alexander and Alan, and "a" names are kind of a family thing (my name is Amy and my brother's name is Andrew). Plus, all my boys' names have powerful meanings. Alexander means "champion", Alan means "noble", and Aaron means "exalted". - amomperson

Interesting, I did well academically. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with my first name though. As a male, it was common for people to spell my name Erin, now i'm used to saying it and then spelling it for them. other than that, pretty good name. it's always on the top of lists sorted by first name, few people share it, and its fun to meet other Aarons. - Aaron

I am going to advocate for the name Aaron for the following reasons:
1. It is not overly common. I've looked back on most popular name lists over the past 20 odd years and the highest Aaron ever got was around 30, but it never goes below 80. So Aaron is a name that will always be well-known but not too common.

2. A recent study found a person's initials can affect things about their personality. For example, students with the initials of A or B get higher grades on average than students with C or D initials. People are also attracted to careers that start with the same letter, so in this case Accountant, Attorney (me!), and Astronaut are all lofty goals.

3. Finally, Aaron is the 17th most common boy named shared by both blacks and whites. This is kinda unique because some names are strictly associated with only one race. - Aaron
