I first saw this name and immediately looked for it's meaning. I told my boyfriend the meaning, and he said that's it! I wanted a name referring to the Power of God. I later tried to remember the name that I wanted to name my first 3 sons if they had been girls. Shakiyah La Nae(short for La Nan) my sister's middle name. So the African meaning of Chikae so exceptionally fell into order! Hope you all enjoy it as much as we are!

When I saw this name for the first time I thought it was really unique and I hurried to find the meaning when I saw it meant Gods power I knew this was the perfect name for a little boy.
