The name was found in an African book in 1975. The meaning in that book is "Beautiful". It was only adopted in America and everywhere else later. As well as the meaning has changed.

I think that Shani is n beautiful name because only a few people have that name. I am blessed to have the name name Shani and know the meaning of it because I am marvelous and beautiful.
