If the bearer of 'Apara' is from Ilesha, a town in Nigeria, then it is a shortened version of Apara ogun bi eni mpale....which means a strong warrior that fought in the yoruba tribal wars of 19th century yorubaland.It was the name given to our great great great grandfather for his fierce bravery in battle by Ogendengbe the famous warrior.
