I absolutely love this name. First heard it on the
t.v. show "The West Wing" character Ainsley Hayes.
She was Smart, beautiful, and funny. And their is

I really like this name but agree with the first comment. I have a b-i-l named Mitchell Mitch, and he can't get away from the swear word that rhymes with his name. Everyone from his friends to Dad and brother. Think twice.

is named Ainsley. I LOVE her name even though we knew that in elementary school she might get the anus comments. honestly there are derogatory names for lots of names, my maiden name rhymes with dork and i heard that from kids for a while but eventually you all grow up a bit and i wasnt scarred.
