Everytime I tell someone my name they always think I am saying either "L", "Owww", "Owl", or "Eric". I HATE IT.lol It takes me 3 minutes to introduce myself.

I have a friend named alec and people often call him alex by accident. It really bugs him when people say it wrong. But personally, i like the name.

We named our son Alec after his grandfather(Alexander but known as Alec). I believe a person defines a name, and so to us Alec means someone who is full of life, sometimes a grump but very loveable and into various kinds of mischief.
