I love this Name. But Manly! Come on!!

The meaning does not necessarily mean manly, just like it doesn't necessarily mean brave. The actual translation from greek means 'with the heart of a man' or along those lines. That would mean that it could imply manly, or it could imply brave, as many believed that only men, and not women, were brave.

Either way, I love my name. Better than Gertrude in any case =)

Manly is if it is Andrew. Andrea is said to mean womanly. The opposite (for the opposite gender)

I really dont like this name...my name! I would have much prefered to have been called Angela, Adriana or something similar which is what I get called by accident most of the time anyway.
