I love my name, I was also born in April and that's always a great icebreaker. For some reason people get a real kick out of that. True, April Fool's day is tough when you're younger, but after all is said and done it is a fabulous and not too common name.

I don't mind my name, but people try to call me April May... no,no,no. I wasn't born in April. My mother didn't have a name for me so she named me after the month she was born in... it could be worse, I could be a March. My mother also has a great uncle named August.

I also agree growing up the name april was an icbreaker for other i was always teased about april fool's day but now that i have grown up i would'nt change my name for the world. my mom liked it couldnt find a middle name then she came up with beth so i am April Beth and i like it so does all my friends and family yes its also an icebreaker caues others ask well was ya born in april? my answer is always no. i was actally born in oct. hope others who are thinking of naming their daughter april it a good chopice and its rare
