My grandson's name is Brayden. He is 2. We have run across it a few times. His Mom, named Lindsey, decided when she was in the 3rd grade that he needed to change her name, because there were 5 other girls in her class that year. So she thought that if she changed the spelling, it would make all the difference in the world>>>LOL so, she changed the spelling to Lynsey and that is why she went with the braYden spelling of this name. She is 21 and still spells her name that way.

I have a son Braiden, but as you can see I have spelt it with an 'i' instead of a 'y'. I love the name. I rarely ever hear another boy with the same name, and if I have, they have never spelt it the way I did. Great name!!

I named my youngest son Brayden. (I have 3 "B" boys -- Bradford, Bretton, Brayden) I had found a name in a BabyName book, but it was spelled "Braiden"...I thought people might have difficulty pronouncing the name, so I improvised (or so I thought!). I didn't realize how popular this name actually was/is becoming!

My husband(Braden) and I named our son "Braden" because it was his name and his great uncle. I loved the name b/c it was a name sake. My son was born in 1998 n my husband in 1977. I had never heard the name until then, now it's sooooooo common!!!!!

My son just turned 9 months old. His name is Brayden.
When I first saw it online, I had NEVER heard of it anywhere.... and now I hear it and see it all the time. It's like one of 2008 2009 most popular boy names..
Crazy.... even my husbands coworker named her son Brayden spelled the same way 2 months before our son was born. The name really fits my son to a T.
