I have always liked the name Brooke. My husband and I both think it is very cute, but we just want to be sure we name our little girl the perfect name and this is as close as we've come. Now just trying to figure out a middle name.

My middle name :)
written by Amanda M., March 04, 2008
My middle name is Brooke. I have always loved it because it's not your every day middle name and it flows well with my first name which is " Amanda". When I was younger my family used to call me " Brooker" instead of Amanda. LOL!
my middle name too

My name is Courtney Brooke, and I've always liked it. Brooke is very pretty but "stately" enough to not be too girly. And it looks so pretty written out. If I'm blessed with a daughter, her name will be Brooke!

Love This Beautiful Name
written by Mommyto4in08, April 13, 2008
I named my first born daughter Brooke Alexandria when she arrived in '96. While not an uncommon name, it's beautiful, strong, and feminine, just like her. It suits her to a "T". I have never regretted this choice, and you won't either!
My Middle Name
written by Ashton, June 26, 2008
My middle name is Brooke and I love it so much more than my first name, Ashton. Brooke is a girl's name, but many people say Ashton is a guys name. I've always wanted to be called Brooke instead of Ashton, but that never happened. But still, I love how my first and middle name fit together. Ashton Brooke. It's in my e-mail, most of my usernames, I just love them together.
*meh* its ok

of course i like the name brooke but i wish i had been born someting else. the thing is i cant think of any other names that would suit me. i like my middle name better 'alison' but its just not me. the thing that i hate the most is that when your name is brooke the only nicknames that are available either rhyme with brooke or are about the way you act. you know, alexandria has alex and allie. names that are made out of the real names but don't sound like they're for 2 year olds. lets see- bro, oke- thats it anybody have any nicknames for brooke fitting the criteria?
My daughter's name
written by Katie, October 11, 2008
We chose this name for our daughter, who was born in 2006. Her name is Brooke Ellen. We chose Brooke for a few reasons. I am a real nature lover and my husband loves water, well we both do, but it just seemed to fit. It's funny, it suits her to a "T" and it turns out she loves water too! Ellen is now a four generation middle name in my family, my grandmother, my mom and I all had the middle name Ellen but we dropped it when we were married and give the name to our first daughter. We love it, it's beautiful!
