The name Cindel was taken from the little blonde, curly haired girl in the Star War movie, Ewoks. Our Cindel was exactly like this little girl: blonde, with very curly hair. Very petite.

I also saw a movie when I was 8 years old. Even though I could not remember the name of it, the little girls name stood out... When I had my little girl I knew her name would be 'Cyndle'. I never knew how to write it. Now I know it is spelt Cindel, however I love it the way it is. Thanks to the Star War movie. Ewoks
