I never used to like my name. I'm still not a big fan, but I have never met anyone else with it spelled the same as me, Crystle. So I guess I'm unique.

i have a friend named krystal and every time someone says crystal we turn around and our friends laugh at us. i haven't met anyone with there name like mine though.
its Crystal Joleen, and i love my middle name.
i'm unique. and my parents named me crystal because they met at the crystal palace (club).

I never knew very many girls named Crystal when I was growing up. My dad named me after my mom's mother Christine, and my mother Dee... So I wound up being called Crystal Dee. My name fits me well, and sounds like a country girl's name. (Which I'm definitely a country girl.) Many dumb people used to always say you must've been named after Crystal Gayle, the country singer, or they tried to nickname me Crystal Gayle. It was annoying. (I was born in 1973, when she was big on the country music scene in the 70's.) I always corrected people saying I am named after my grandma and mom, not after a singer. What is kind of funny to me, is how many people have always misspelled my name; including my own family members. Almost everyone tries to spell my name either Christal, Chrystal, Krystal, or Kristal. I bet I've had to correct people 90% of my lifetime telling people spell my name like the mineral. (Quartz crystal) CRYSTAL. LOL Apparently, it's pretty hard for people to spell it correctly. :o)

I love this name so much! When have a baby will consider it for sure.

My name is Crystal Leann. I never knew too many people with that name growing up either. My mom said she always liked the name crystal and around that time everyone else was naming their daughter kristy or some other spelling of it so i ended up having about 3 or 4 kristy's in my class at aschool but no crystal !! my mom liked it and my dad like leigh-ann but they shortened it to leann. my mom's middle name is ann and most of her family have lee as theirs so i guess it blends both well.

Well when I was younger I used to spell my name Christal. In middle school I had to change the spelling to how it was on my birth cetificate. CRYSTLE. I had 2 friends with the name Crystal and one of them spelled their name just like me. CRYSLTE. I think I have grown into it more. It fits who I am.

omg i do not like my i have never liked mi name... it's just so common... Everytime my name will come up and i look only to find that there talking about a different crystal or THE ROCK i mean A ROCK!!!! It is so frustrating im just about to change mi name entirely why is that so common!!!! ugghh itt drives me nuts!!!
