I love this name because not many people that I have ran into have heard of Elissa. They always want to call me Alissa or Melissa. I have to tell them no its EEEElissa. Trust me your daughter will say Thanks mom for such a great name!!!!

i love my name even though nobody can say it! People call me Melissa and Eliza alot... my parents named me elissa pronounced alyssa, but i like it eeelissa better!

Our second daughter is called Elissa Paige, we named her after Alyssa Milano (Phoebe in Charmed). Everyone we know loves her name even though sometimes people put a 'h' in her name calling her Elisha.

i named my 5 yr old elyssa..i thought it was unique and i don't recall ever seeing it spelled the way i did...if you want to use it you can...lol
