I believe I made this name up in 1978 (Aus) when my first son was born. It was not in any baby books. I just kept adding letters to 'Jade' until it sounded right. My son would have been 30 this year. At the time, everyone thought my husband and I were mad to make up such an unusual name, but we have always loved it and still do.

Our Jadon was born in November 1977! Looks like we were way ahead of everyone. The name is Biblical. You can find it in the Bible in Nehemiah 3:7. There are many variations to the spelling but the Biblical spelling is Jadon. He is 31 years old now, married and has two children of his own. OH, he LOVES his name! Hes a picky guy, so thank goodness!

I have always liked the name Jayden, because not only does it just sound adorable, but my name is Jaede. Jaede is pronounced 'jade'. What can I say, my mom wanted to be unique. I love my name! And to give my future son a little personal spin on his name, I wanted to have Jayden spelled Jaeden, to match his mommy. My fiance was the one that actually came up with that idea, and now I absolutely would not have it any other way! :)
