I named my son Jaylyn. My father's name is Lynn and I put Jay in front of it.

My baby is going to be named Jaylyn. This name is after my first name Jaclyn. I just put a y in the place of the c. I love this name. Not to many girls have it and it sounds so lovely.

I want to name my son Jaylen instead of using it for a girl name. Not quite sure how I want to spell it. I also dont want him to be confused for being a girl because most everyone wants to name their kid with the intention of it being Jay-Lynne.. I want more of a Jay-len or Jay-lon.

My name is Jalyne but my mom chose to spell it that way based on her mom's name and her middle name. Her moms name is Jane and so she took Ja from that and then her middle name is Lynn but for whatever reason she decided to spell the Lynn part in my name Lyne. So in a sense I have a pretty unique name still because I've never met anyone with the same spelling as mine and I've never met someone with the same name either but I know that there are people out there who do have the same name.

I have a girl in my class with this name but it is spelled "Jailen". This is the only place I could find anything close. I promised the kids I would research their names. This was my toughest. I still do not know what it means. Thanks for the other input.

We were looking for a different name for our middle child we spelled it Jaelyn. We didnt think that there was anybody elsed named that. Glad to know that shes not the only one in the world.

i had my lil girl in 2008 my husband and i could not think of any name for our daughter and we both like the named jay lynn i spell her my daughters name jaylien its pronounced the same just spelt a little different!!!!! i absolutely love the way i spell her name!!
