Every other name info book or webpage stated my name basically meant youthful. All in all though, I love my name and am constantly getting comments on it. I would not change it for the world!

My name is Jillian and while I LOVE my name almost everyone I introduce myself to can't pronounce it. "Jullian" is very common and I HATE that! I also get Jill-yen sometimes. And unless you also like "Jill" don't bother, it doesn't matter how ardent you are that you want to be called Jillian there will always be ones who insist on calling you Jill

i really want to name my daughter jillian, although i want her to be CALLED jillian. not jill. jilly is cute though.
