I love the name Katie. It doesn't stand for anything long, just plain Katie. I think I have lived up to the meaning as well.

My name is Katie (Katherine) and I love it. The whole "having a meaning" is kinda wierd. It is what it is... A great girl name. Easy to pronounce, easy to spell, and very "girlie". lol

my little sisters name is katie(katherine). it is sooo simple and everyone seems to luv it. im stuck with the name Kelsey. sometimes people mispronounce it or say it is weird. but i wouldnt trade my name for the world, even if people do favor my sister's name more.
