The name Lillian reminds me of the show Rugrats. I thinks it's such a pretty name though. I'm keeping it on my Baby Names Possibilities list. Think of it. Her nickname could be "Lil" or "Lily".

Our daughter is named Lillian Calliyah ( Cuh-lee- yah) . Lilli or Liyah for short.
I chose those name for several reasons. Before we even knew we were having a a girl I had several dreams in which I named her Lillian :)
I love the sweet sound of Lillian as well as the meaning(s) plus it's not overused. I love Calla Lily's ( the flowers) so that's how and why I came up with her middle name.

threw all of my grandchildren I had always wanted a Lillian . I find the name to be delicate and graceful & when my 5th grandchild was on her way my Daughter also Loved the name so I was so pleased & watching her be born was oh so amazing for I had prayed threw out her pregnancy that this child be born with a spiritual sole & with the light of god in her & that she was she lite up the room like the flower she is had just opened all the nurses & even the Dr was in awh & all smiles for she is breath taking good luck to you all & I do pray your child will wear the name with her head held high

I have a 17 month old daughter and when I was pregnant that is the only name that I liked!! I knew she would be my little Lily. I think that Lillian/Lily is a beautiful name and everyday when I look at my baby I am so grateful I gave her that name.
