I love my name! There's no nasty nicknames anyone can make out of it. :) Plus it tends to be rare; I've met others who have the same name as me but never have I met one with this particular spelling. The meaning gives it a sort of magical hidden place ideal.

I can honestly say I haven't met too many Lindsay's. People always compliment me on my name and on the "...ay" (at the end) People say "Lindsay as in Lindsay Lohan??" and It is really, really annoying. Some people actually remember me as "Lindsay Lohan" and they even say "Hi Lindsay Lohan and it just drives me nuts. If you name your kid Lindsay, people will definitely make the connection with Lindsay Lohan, if she's still around then. l have been dealing with this for the last 2-3 years. EVERYONE does it.
