This is a beautiful name. I fell in love with this name last year. It isn't used alot also it is mature but not to mature for a teenager. You can be called different names such as Phill. I love this name..I plan on naming my son Phillip.

I named my son Phillip. He is now 16 and seems happy with his name. I thought it was classy sounding.I got it from The Young and Restless...Nina's son Phillip Chancellor.He goes by Phillip too...not Phil.

my daughters father is named phillip he goes by pj the j is for jeffery. he was teased in high school for the pj though now that he is older he goes by phil like his dad did.

We were going to name our son Peter and my parents and everyone said - no not Peter...he'll get picked on so badly. So we thought of Phillip. Phillip was an evangelist and one of the 12 disciples.
Our Phillip looks so much like a Phillip now...couldn't image him having any other name!!!
