Great name for a boy and girl

I have always seen Riley as a boys name. My wife has a great uncle who is Riley. The girls version has become very popular especally with more feminine spellings. Ryleigh, Rylee, Ryley, etc. seem better suited for girls. The traditional masculine spelling is Riley, which is what we selected for our son.

My 2nd son's name is Riley. We kept it as Riley. The problem with today's parents are that they want to be creative but not thinking that the child will be forever spelling out their name because of them. Riley, how it's spelled is PERFECT! Rylee, Rhiley, Ryleigh??? Come on people, are you trying to create another language here... Think of the child not your creativity. By the way Rylee, Rhiley and Ryleigh are quite sad ways of spelling the perfect name, Riley!
NOT FOR A BOY

I think it's a really cute name, I don't know if I would use it. But it's not masculine or for a boy at all. I don't understand how anyone would name a boy this. But I like it spelled Rylie instead. :)
