written by Another Sabrina, January 23, 2008
Wow?.I've never met another Sabrina before. Its amazing to see all of you up here..My Grandmother from Kenya was reading the Celtic story about the Princess Sabrina and then decided to name me by that story...I too have been called funny names ( like sab, sabby, etc?...however now as an adult I'm now called Bee or Bree.) and have been asked many times. If I can cast spells like the teenage witch.( I wish we could)... Anyhow..Im proud to be a Sabrina.
Sabrina Fair....
written by Sabrina Bean, January 29, 2008
I've always liked my name and I loved the fact that Audrey Hepburn played Sabrina Fairchild in the movie Sabrina. That and John Milton even wrote a poem about a Sabrina Fair. It's an unusual name and I like to consider myself unusual. It suits me. My parent chose it because it was easy to translate into Spanish. I've had people try and call me Sabby or Sab, but they never stuck. I'm called Bean at home. Other variations...Bringo, Breenie, Breen, Beanie, and my grandpa used to call me "Sobrina". Sobrina means niece in spanish.

Sabrina fair
Listen where thou art sitting
Under the glassy, cool, translucent wave,
In twisted braids of lilies knitting
The loose train of thy amber-dropping hair;
Listen for dear honour's sake,
Goddess of the silver lake,
Listen and save.

I too am Sabrina

I love my name. I was the only Sabrina in my school and loved it. My parents almost named me Kimberly and I'm so glad they didn't, there were about 8 other Kimberlys in school. It sucks never finding anything in the store with my name on it, but it's a small price to pay to be unique. Now I'm pregnant and trying to find a name as unique as mine and it's hard. My parents did a good job.

I'm so glad my parents named me Sabrina Nadine. The English version means Princess/Goddess of the Severn River in Wales. The Spanish version means From the Border Line. My middle name was after my great grandmother, and I like it because it is uncommon and old fasioned. My name combination is unique and beautiful, and I get many compliments from people saying that my name fits me. The witch comments never bothered me and they were few and far between. My friends call me Bree, Beena, Bean, Sab, Sabby. I can't even think of another name that could fit me.
I am Sabrina too.

I grew up hating my name. I wanted to be a Jessica or Erica. People called me "Sabrina the teenage witch" and it didn't bother me. I knew that I was named after the Archie Comic character Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
I love it now. I think its great! In Hebrew it mean bewitchful woman.

My name is Sabrina and I love it. I never really got the teenage witch stuff. I've know a handful of Sabrina's( i went to school with 2). My parents named me after Sabrina in Charlie's Angels. I have noticed that it is becoming very popular. I've met lots of little girls named Sabrina in the past year.
