I think this is the most beautiful name in the world!!! I have a baby girl and her name is Sofia. I love how it is spelled. I think spelling it with a F instead makes it unqiue. When I was just 15 I knew if I had a girl I would name her Sofia so I did.

my daughters name is sophia and we have had many compliments. however we aren't hispanic-and sophia is not a spanish name, it is greek and it means wisdom. i love the name and don't allow people to shorten it for sophie because sophia is too pretty of a name...

I love this name, and it is spanish. It's all in the spelling. If its with a F it's spanish, and if its with a PH it's greek, but they both mean wisdom. Crazy huh?
