My name is Taylor Nicole. I am a girl and I love my name but I know a lot of people with the name Taylor. On my cheer team there are 3 different taylors including me. Not to sound prejudice but I think its cuter as a girl name.

I think that Taylor is very much a unisex name though i do prefer it as a boys name. To me it depends on how you spell it. Taylor is a boys name and Tayler, Taylah and Tayla are girls names. Thats the way i see it lol

When i named my son Taylor (17 years ago) i had always thought of it as a boys name. i am so surprised at how many parents years later are now naming their girls Taylor. I guess you never know but just in case you are wondering, the origin is a boy name.

Taylor is kind of a generic name, it can be used for either gender. I named my son Taylor. In the mid 1990s the name became more popular for girls. It seems there are twice as many girls now named Taylor than there are boys.

My name is Taylor, and i think it's really much better as a girl's name. We always considered Tyler to be a boy's name and Taylor to be the female equivalent. I've only met one other Taylor in my life. If you want to make it more feminine, go by Taya or Taytay.
Taylor Lyn
written by Taylor, April 06, 2008
My name is Taylor Lyn, & I did see that someone was going to name their kid Taylor Lyn in May. I find that really strange considering My birthday is in May. I don't really like my name, but I do think its better for a girl. The only reason I don't like it for myself is because it is such a common name, & I am more of a unique person. :) Its fine for other people though.

My daughter (13) is Taylor Alexandra. She likes her name very much. There are a few male Taylor's but mostly female. Regardless, I think it is a nice name.
